Getting this van ready to paint has been a long drawn out process. Besides stripping the paint off, there are a few places where the body needed repair. The gullwing door hinges are stressed and the metal is fatigued beyond welding. We welded a brace to the surface to strengthen the surrounding metal.

larry...school is a good place to start. with the government coming down on bodyshops there is a mountian of regs and rules for the painter..they will teach you the ins of paint and application..find all you can on custom paint and custon body and study it. you'll need to learn to weld.. buy a van and start. experience is the best teacher......
